Special Editions

by Jeroen van Dinther

A tried-and-true way to boost sales is the launch of a special edition. Mazda has made good use of this strategy all over the world.

Personally, I’m a big fan of special editions, especially because they include exclusive features and options that customers would normally skip due to the price. For me, it’s been a source of inspiration to incorporate these exclusive parts into my own MX-5.

On this site, I’d like to highlight a few special editions—often because I find them particularly attractive, or because I’ve already used parts from them myself. I won’t stop there, so that this can eventually become a great overview for all enthusiasts.
